Nike Skateboarding just dropped a collab with Bronx Girls Skate that brings together Nike SB’s rich skate history with a project built by and for a women-led crew out of the Bronx, that was founded in 2020 by Mel Ramirez and Kava Vasquez.
And now for the sneaker. The upper is a textured black leather, while crisp white Swooshes balance the look. The sneaker also includes vibrant piping in Red, Orange, and Green that weaves its way around the panels. The piping colors are actually a tribute to the Bronx’s subway lines
Other features include Gold “BXGS” lace dubraes and NY charms on the heel, another nod to the NYC subway system and custom insoles with handwritten messages like “I am because we are” printed in English and Spanish.
The Bronx Girls Skate x Nike SB Dunk drop January 27, 2026, via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops for around $140 USD.In a scene that has been dominated by men, BXGS has carved out space for women and their partnership with Nike SB is a milestone.
