
SZA x Vans: A Vision Shared — Her New Era as Artistic Director Begins

Singer, songwriter, actress and all around cool girl , SZA, just leveled up. This time, it’s with style. The Grammy-winning icon has been named Vans’ first-ever Artistic Director in a multi-year partnership where she'll shape campaigns, curate collections, and infuse the brand’s legacy with her signature sense of joy, artistry, and inclusive energy.

Her first project out the gate, is the SZA approved Vans Knu Skool in Black/White. Originally released in 1997 this skater friendly kick is an update to the OG Ol Skool a skate-worthy update to the Old Skool this silhouette but features a puffy tongue, 3D sidestripe, and chunky laces a reflection of SZA’s unique style.
This collab shows SZA’s longtime love for the brand, and brings art-driven designs that stay true to Vans’ rebellious heart, while speaking to SZA’s soulful core.
